Busy Afternoon

This morning til early afternoon was a busy day. We had to run errands for a couple of different places. First stop was, I had to drop of my wife to a bank because she needs to deposit for my son’s birthday party in school then me and my friend went to a computer shop to buy a couple of parts for this office that we will be setting up a new computer and then my wife texted me and she went to another bank to deposit another payment for “something” again for our son’s party and then she told me that if we will take more time, she will be dropping by to a Shiseido store because she wants to buy an accentuating stick. Then we met in the computer store and wifey waited for us. We went to Mayon to get something for his friend and then we had late lunch and braved traffic to go back to work but it was a good afternoon because we did so much in just a few hours.

Summer Once Again

I had a taste of summer last last Saturday when I came mountain biking in Lamesa Ecopark with some of the mountain bikers I joined from the forum. Some, I met only for the first time but a few were already familiar. I needed practice, that’s the only thing I discovered. I went on a hiatus and I wasn’t strong enough to be on the harder tracks. I am hoping to bike more often now that Summer is coming and most of the time, it is really hot now. I hope I can do this for the betterment of my health.

Still Cold in His Place

I had a short chat with my brother and he told me about buying a new electric blanket because apparently it is still cold in his side of the world while here in the Philippines, we are already experiencing a little taste of summer. He was also convincing me to save more and asking me when are we planning to take a vacation in the United States. Honestly, we don’t have plans yet, things and events are changing and we are not sure when are we going to the US. Even I, myself is eager to visit because I haven’t been there but we need to prioritize stuff and I think a trip there is in the bottom of our list.

My wife has less requirement when finding a car, actually a mini van is what she is leaning towards of buying because she is thinking of comfort and height (which by the way is really important if you see our road to my in laws’ place). Anyway, I wamt to get a portable gps when we finally gets the transportation that she wants. She always tells me that she never wants an old school car anymore because it will never give us comfort. Collecting old school cars can be possible when we are rich and you can maintain an old car without us suffering when it needs to be in the shop for some fixing, which is true, I totally agree with her and these are the cars that we are actually considering…

Collecting Stuff

I used to love collecting cassette tapes when it was so “in” during those high school days when all you have to listen to were songs from Guns and Roses, Aerosmith and the likes. My sister on the other hand loves collecting personalized coins that were later on sold to higher prices. I wish I followed her footsteps and collected items that doubled their worth in time. Now, she plans on collecting artwork from popular artists, I am just wondering where is she going to put all these items when she shares the room with my mother.

Honda Jazz

I want a Honda Jazz for my family. I think it’s a practical car because it consumes gas lesser than the SUV which my wife wants to have for us but since gasoline is high, she kind of agrees that we can possible get a Jazz next year if things and plans push through. One thing that hinders us from buying a Jazz is our road. You see the road to my in-law’s house is muddy (when it rains) and still not cemented and developed so when you get a really low car, it will definitely get the beating. Anyway, my wife a really simple set up for the Jazz while I want it to look like a toy car, a remote controlled car that looks similar to these photos…
