What the heck is happening to our country? I hope the people from low places have purchased safety products. I’ve been awake until now and it’s been raining since 9pm and it’s already almost 2 am. “Santi”, the new typhoon hit the land tonight and it’s been raining non stop. I can’t sleep and so is my wife, who has been looking out the window for the nth time now. Raining non stop is not a joke in our country anymore, to think of what happened from Typhoon Ondoy. No bike again tomorrow of course aside from this non stop rain, we will go to my son’s Pedia to have his vaccine. I hope it doesn’t rain too much or else we might postpone it. Please stop the rain already! It’s almost Christmas.

Aside from destroying most of the homes here in our country and hos destructive it is to the victims… I HATE, yes HATE is such a strong word and I want to use it because it’s because of Ondoy and Pepeng and Ramil to add, we can’t go biking. I would be needing some top diet pills, I have flabs everywhere. I couldn’t burn anything from just sitting at work and then lazing around at home. We were supposed to go trailing this Saturday at La Mesa Ecotrail but the trail is closed due to the typhoons and they are restoring the bike park for bikers like us so we need to wait until they do.The trailing in Maarat is not passable due to some trees that still block the road. Hence it is impossible to do trailing there too. Now my only hope of losing some flabs is the marathon I’m joining this Sunday with my wife.

I’ve been talking to a friend who lives abroad and had a recent trip in the United States. He was raving about how perfect his trip was and was particularly saying good feedback about the hotels myrtle beach sc. I have two of my colleagues at work who sell motorhome. We were talking about a cool business to get into when 2 of them blurted out their biz. To tell you frankly, I have no interest in selling stuff, I find people who have the patience with these kinds of stuff very amusing and I find respect for them, it’s not really easy to sell and convince buyers. I on the other hand would want a car shop, a restaurant and an apartment business. All of them are so hard to reach today but I still have the determination and positive thinking that we will have our dream businesses someday. Being employed in the office will not get us anywhere in this country, we need to focus and aim for something where we can earn extra money. Life is full of tough choices and sometimes in a decision, money can be somehow involved. Tsk.

I need some weight loss supplements nowadays. I am on a biking halt lately, then as I was getting excited for the weekends and then the weather bureau is actually telling us that another typhoon is coming if not this evening, then we should expect it tomorrow. Now tell me how will I be able to lose my excess pounds? Unlike before that I have badminton aside from biking, nowadays I’m a bit rustic with my moves, it’s been a year since my last real badminton game. I should really plan a great biking trip when the sun comes out longer… I am really itching to use my Marin!

It’s been a stressful 2 weeks since the typhoons came to disturb our country. Even if we are not directly affected by the flood, we have love ones who were affected and it gave so much stress to me and my wife. Worrying is very hard, it’s actually torture. So when they finally replied to our messages and answered our phone calls, we were all happy. Thank God all of them are okay. We thought that after these storms, for couples… they need a romantic cancun vacation or for families they should have a family getaway. All of the victims need some pat in the back, this will not replace what they lost but pulling them away from their problems even for maybe a week is nice right? They all deserve a first class treatment from the wonderful staff of Karisma Hotels + Resorts. Their gourmet inclusive packages will surely relax everybody. It will be a treat if everybody gets a massage at the beachfront and dine in a nice set up under the moonlight. Of course, this is so wishful thinking. If only I have the powers, I will replace everything, lives, properties. But all I can do is wish, that somehow there will be a way to take them out of their problems. If not a well deserve vacation, better will be a really great help from our government.

My wife encouraged me to join her and her best friend on October 25 for the Adidas event at Bonifacio High Street, even without the right tool, meaning running shoes, I said yes. Now we need to buy 2 running shoes, 1 for my wife and 1 for me. I’m planning to get an Adidas to avail of the discount they will give to those who registered for the event. This will be my first time and though I still have biking as my first on my list, but who knows, I might enjoy running as much as my wife does. We’ll see…
