I am already convincing my wife to bike with me, she’s been busy looking for the best diet pills for her to lose weight and I think she’s not fat to take anything other than do exercise. She’s sporty before, playing badminton and jogs when she has time or she usually do treadmill but after giving birth she stopped and she deserves exercise not to lose weight but to be healthy. I had a BUSY day at the office today. I left at 7pm and my wife and my brother in law waited at the parking lot for 2 hours since I usually go out at 5pm. We car pool by the way. I was actually at the office for 2 hours working my butt off even if I have to go home for nothing. They changed their mind and actually had me work on something and last minute they said that they will not use it anymore. Torture! I hope it won’t be as busy tomorrow since it’s a Friday already.

I am looking for nice Amazon books about biking online. I heard some biker friends that there are books I can buy for repairing my own mountain bike and great reads about downhill biking. When I find time, I will definitely browse for that online.

We will be checking in at Holiday Inn. My brother in law and his wife invited us to go with their family to celebrate their 5th anniversary. So we will be staying overnight in a hotel today, check in at around 2pm. I will be going there in the afternoon though, I have so much pending tasks at the office that I can’t ask for a day’s off. Bummer!

Downhill biking (DH) is a gravity-assisted time trial mountain biking event. Riders race against the clock, usually starting at intervals of 30 seconds (seeded from slowest to fastest), on courses which typically take two to five minutes to complete. Riders are timed with equipment similar to that used in Downhill skiing. The placing is determined by the fastest times to complete the course; races are often won by margins of under a second. As the name of this discipline implies, downhill races are held on steep, downhill terrain with no extended climbing sections, resulting in high speed descents with extended air time off jumps and other obstacles. I know my wife will react to this post. She doesn’t like me getting too curious about this. She feels it’s too extreme and dangerous for a family man like me. I’m still unsure whether to be a downhill biker or not but this kind of biking interests me.

Another task is given to me. I have to order Christmas Invitations for my boss’ party at his house this December and as early as today, his secretary informed me that I should look for a shopwho prints photo and ships it the same day it is approved plus of course a shop who can add photo to the card. Of course, Cards Shoppe instantly came to mind. I won’t have a hard time looking for the right Christmas Party Invitation for the big boss. I can sit down and relax and do my other tasks on hand until we are really ready to order and pay for the Party Christmas Invitations. My boss will be even happier since they also ship for free. Awesome!
My parents in law have 2 small ponds in their garden. It’s actually man made and has fishes in one pond and the other has only water without fishes since fishes die in that pond, maybe because it’s very exposed and at night water gets too cold. Anyway, the filter is not working in the pond with fishes and they asked me to get a few more pond supplies to fix some problems around it. Yeah, I know, I’m kinda Mr. Fix It and I have no problems with that, I love tinkering stuff and getting things fix, now I just have to look for a great one stop shop where I get everything so my time will not be wasted this weekend and by next week hopefully everything gets fixed.
My sister is very busy these days. She has no time in taking care of our pets at home. She texted me last last week and actually asked me if I want to take care of our dog, Jacjac. But at my in laws’ house, we already have a sharpei and they don’t really like another dog in the house. So my sister just asked me to just get some pet supplies for the pets at home. My sister loves pets and I do too but with our busy lives and of course me, having a family of my own, I can’t really have pets unlike when I was in school, life is less busy and I have more free time. I got the things she needs for the dog and the bird at home, I hope it helps!
We are on our way to work this morning while listening to Magic’s Good Times. Mo Twister’s topic is what do you want to see here in the Philippines that first world countries have. We instantly thought of “DISCIPLINE”. I’ve been to Hong Kong with my wife and I’m amazed of how people follow rules, particularly traffic rules in HK. I want to see that here. But what are we going to do if the authorities themselves break the rules?

I am asked to actually find a nice shop that can print the photo Halloween invitation that my boss wants. He wants to include a photo in the invitation. He does not like the usual design that most invitations have, he wants something unique and exclusive. I’m just thankful I found really nice Photo Halloween Invitations that he can choose from at Card Shoppe. I can be excited about the party and think of a cool custome for November, I have no worries now that I found a site who can actually do the job for the Halloween party invitations plus my boss will be happy to know that they actually ship for free.
