New Year! New Phone?

Jan-13-2010 By nitrousworx

I’m seriously thinking of selling my iPhone. My wife hates the idea but I want an upgrade. I still don’t know what to replace it but maybe a higher iPhone model if it allows.

It’s sleeker design is much better than my 2g. It will be lighter and will perform better. Anyway, speakign of phones, I heard from a merchant friend about a cool check by phone, I was a bit confused but when he told me about it as a check writing software that allows merchants of all sizes to take a check from their customers. No more waiting in the mail, he now earns faster and wiser. Technology nowadays really makes life easier. I just hope it will also be easy to convince my wife to switch and upgrade my phone before summer. hehehe…

Techie Guy

Last night my wife and I were supposed to watch Avatar, I downloaded it online. When my wife told me that we should watch it in 3D, I knew she was right but we have no time, even watching it in our laptop last night was canceled. Why? Well, my lawyer colleague asked me to install software in his new HP netbook. I swear netbooks nowadays are getting nicer and nicer. Wider screens, sleeker designs. If I have the money, I want one. hehehe… But I have to remember and take note to myself that this year, my wife said no spending for unnecessary stuff so at least I got to use a new HP Mini 311-1000 last night…

Cool right?

New iPod Nano

Sep-13-2009 By nitrousworx

I was visiting the Apple site last week and saw the new iPod Nano. What’s so new about it?

It has a camera and wider screen for viewing your videos and photos! Yes, it’s not just for music but if you need to catch an impromptu video or photo, you can now grab your iPod Nano. Plus it has FM radio, Voice Over which tells you the artist and the album, Pedometer that counts the steps that you make and Note to self voice memos with the built-in mic lets you capture a thought, a reminder, a class lecture, or any audio recording you want with Voice Memos. Going Japanese

I am not a fan of Anime. In fact, I never was, I think. But I find this very creative and amusing.

Very creative indeed. Featuring the artwork of illustrators Tony Taka and Carnelian, these keyboards will retail for approximately $100. Expensive if you ask me, but if you are into this stuff then I think this is a brilliant idea. Creativity and art can be anywhere, even your own keyboard!

If I win the lottery…

Aug-22-2009 By nitrousworx

… my wife will have this…

iMac 24 inch.

She is actually planning to give our work station a makeover and she told me that she already talked to her interior designer friend about it. She loves Apple and frankly speaking, I would also love an iMac at home. I think it’s the best computer brand ever. If I win the lottery, we will have the works, the most expensive is actually, $1,199.00!!! Yes, we can’t afford that right now so we are actually saving for a cheaper version and maybe a second hand. We’ll see. Our target is to have on next year.

Quoting the site:

“The App Store is like nothing the industry has ever seen before in both scale and quality,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “With 1.5 billion apps downloaded, it is going to be very hard for others to catch up.”

The revolutionary App Store has more than 65,000 apps available to consumers in 77 countries, allowing developers to reach tens of millions of iPhone and iPod® touch users around the world. The App Store works with both iPod touch and iPhone including the new iPhone 3GS, the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet. Apple has shipped over 40 million of these devices that run apps from the App Store.

This proves how much people love Apple (me and my wife included). People are really using iPhones all over the world and the applications can’t be stopped from being downloaded every single day. There are paid apps but of course some are free too. I’ve downloaded 3 apps this morning and that’s just me! WOW!

Smart Faucet From iHouse

Product’s description from the site:

iHouse´s SmartFaucet sophisticated design with the ultimate technology. Using facial screening application the SmartFaucet recognizes the user and automatically turns on the water to your preferred temperature and flow. In addition the touch screen on the top of the faucet can be used to access e-mails, check the outside temperature, check your calendar, etc.

Very innovative, high tech if you ask me. I love the idea of waking up in the morning and checking your mail while brushing your teeth or washing your face. I would like something like this in our bathroom!

Juicy Couture for Geeky Women too!

Jul-7-2009 By nitrousworx

My wife will surely love this and it’s in pink! Featuring from Juicy Couture! It’s a flexi keyboard that works by putting the conncetion to a USB socket. Juicy Couture is of course a site exclusively for women and I know my wife for one will be very happy with this creation. I just think it’s very expensive in the price of $45. They should have priced it more affordably for the Geeky Women out there. My source.

iPhone OS 3.0

Jun-24-2009 By nitrousworx

I was actually disappointed for a few days when I updated my iPhone software. I was not able to use the phone for days because I installed the 3.0 OS and unfortunately I can’t unlocked it. I was able to update and install the software but it was locked for I think, a week and just jailbroken it last Monday. Now I’m enjoyign all the features of the updated software and what I like the most of all the features are I think the…

Copy, Cut & Paste and the Landscape Texting features.

The features are really helpful when I use the phone. I’m still convincing my wife to update her software. She’s kind of scared with these kinds of upgrades. She told me that she will wait for at least 2 months of me using the OS before she upgrades. hehe…

Know more of the software here.
