I don’t have an iPad but my boss has a new one and he asked me to install a few stuff in it and buy the best screen protector for it and I wish I was doing this for myself instead of for him, this is the disadvantage of being an IT government employee, even these things that are not really our task gets to be our task because they just buy these expensive stuff but does not know anything about that expensive stuff and we have to teach them how to use it. Anyway, I saw this Speck case for iPad and I think it is pretty cool because it protects the whole gadget as well as making it look nice…

A friend asked me if I can talk to my wife about him getting a consultation at the hospital where she works. Too bad they don’t have a dermatologist there so he has to consult elsewhere. He thinks he has eczema and he is worried about it. So what is that anyway?

Eczema is a general term for many types of skin inflammation, also known as dermatitis. The most common form of eczema is atopic dermatitis (some people use these two terms interchangeably). However, there are many different forms of eczema.

Basically he doesn’t have to worry, after his check up, the doctor said he just needs to apply something and what he has isn’t contagious so he can go back to work without worrying that we might get it from him. Thank heavens! hehehe….

So in the transition of a new government, we have a new Secretary as well. I on the other hand is back with my mother office. They pulled me out after realizing that they are allowed to. My original office requested my service for them but the write up is not yet approved so I’m staying with my mother office until a decision is made. So far, I have nothing to do, they want me to program the department’s database with a colleague at the office, we’ll see how everything goes. As of now, I am reading basic programming books and watching some helpful videos that can refresh my memory. If I will be asked about my current status at the department, I would answer them this… I’m perfectly happy where they will put me. Work is work, no matter where, the important thing is that I can provide for my family.

My friends and I were talking about various topics about men issues in particular. We talked about their past girlfriends, their family lives and even their sex lives. I am one of the people who kept quiet but listening to the oldies was fun. We had a grand time yesterday laughing and joking around, we finished our tasks early so we just hang around the office chatting. I was surprised on how they knew about extenze and the other products that men uses. I was actually interested about the hair product, though my wife tells me I still look good, I’m a bit conscious of my hair. Well, true enough, I learned so much yesterday afternoon from the really funny stuff to the most private ones. It sometimes pays to really have old workmates at the office.

We are very busy these days, I am tasked to design new calling cards etc for the incoming secretary. Our department will have another new leadership and I wonder what will be new and unique when the new secretary seats at his post. Right now, everybody is waiting. Who are the officers who will stay? Will we be having another revamp? The reconstruction of our office. Some secretaries like cleaning and reorganizing the whole office, I hope all my stuff and equipment stay. I hope I stay in the office, my position is really not in the secretary’s office but the old secretaries asked for me because they need my services there, I love it there already so I hope I stay as well. hehehe… I will keep you posted!

Since the Secretary of our department will soon be leaving to make way to the newly appointed Secretary, we are very busy, what’s worst is that I developed an allergy last night and though I had allergy relief, I don’t think it is still enough. My back is a bit itchy and it is not helping that I have so much to finish since it’s already a Friday.We haven’t been very busy since the first day our present Secretary seated but now surprisingly we got really busy and though there are so much work in hand, I kinda thank the workload because for the past few months, boredom is a common staple at work.

I need a new laptop really bad! I don’t have enough money today but I am in need of it for work! There are tons of pending work that I sometimes need to finish at home and now that I don’t have anything to use and most of my files are in my EHD, it gets really hard and also consumes time. I sometimes borrow my father in law’s old laptop but even tweaking it a little didn’t do anything good to make it work faster. I end up just sleeping at night with unfinished work the next day. I will look in Greenhills, just look!

So many mumbles and I just had to blog about it. Work today was busy, I never though it would since we are off to our team building after work but I was tasked to even draft some wedding invitations! I thought my colleague is joking but nope! I was wrong, he gave me photos of a friend of my boss and he was asking me to draft some layouts for the occasion. I was surprised, this is not in my line of work but I shouldn’t be anymore since I made so many layout before, from baptisms to birthday invites. Anyway, it wasn’t so hard at all, I still kept some of our wedding invitation layouts and I just revised some of it then I’m done to just surfing and chatting before we leave for Baguio. So yeah, we are off to Baguio after an early dinner and while waiting for some of my workmates, I am still here blogging. Anyway, caio!

We are heading to Baguio City today. Team building at work and they decided to go there. I would love to be on a beach instead and I suggested that but they weren’t up to it so yes, we will be saying hello to the pine trees and the Burnham Park. hahaha… I wonder what are we going to there, Baguio is not as how it was used to and the last time we were there, we only had fun at Camp John Hay and that was it.

I am given a task to do business card printing. I dread these days when I have to design and think of nice layouts for the bosses. It can be time consuming plus I have to do several layouts to show them in case they disapprove designs there will be backups. That’s how precise they are of even the calling cards because we are a government office. I hope they we just go online and order so it will be hassle free plus I can do other more important stuff which have deadlines. Oh well. At least I get to practice my PS talent.
