Last February 25, 2011, we were tasked to attend the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution which required maximum attendance for our Department which also includes Bureaus that is. We attended the raising of the Philippine Flag at the EDSA Shrine and the Salubong program in the Afternoon.
The People Power Revolution which also known as the EDSA Revolution during the year 1986 was a series of popular non-violent revolutions and prayerful mass street in the Philippines. It marked the restoration of the country’s democracy. It became an inspiration that ended communist dictatorships in Eastern Europe. It is sometimes referred to as the Yellow Revolution due to the presence of yellow ribbons during the arrival of Benigno Aquino, Jr. These protests were the culmination of a long campaign of civil resistance by the people against the 20-year running authoritarian, repressive regime of then president Ferdinand Marcos and made news headlines as “the revolution that surprised the world”.
I was talking to my friend who’s wife is a doctor and is thinking of applying any health care jobs abroad because they couldn’t support their finances if they will stay here in our country to earn when my wife texted me to drive her to the gym for her regular exercise. While waiting for my wife on her Tuesday athletics, I decided to have my own tummy workout… Eating! As much as I would want to join her regular routine exercise, I wasn’t able to bring my things with me. So while waiting for her, I went into a restaurant and have my tummy a little exercise…digesting!
I did a lot of posts here where in I did so much at work even if it’s not in my line of duty. Just like now that the supply department needs some thrust bearings though I know a lot about bearings for automobile, my line of work is in the IT department and I don’t think this is a thing that they should ask me to do but then again, they asked me to look for a supplier that can supply the department because the one that they used to order the items from canceled at the last minute because they couldn’t make the delivery due to some shipping error.
I am getting acne from sleeping late just to look for new possible cars to replace my Mitsu, I need the best acne products soon. Though my wife doesn’t agree and she already fell in love with Boxie, I’m decided to replace it with a Toyota Corolla small body. My father agreed and is willing to help me financially. It is causing a lot of arguing with my wife, but I hope I’m making the right decision to buy a newer model than the Mitsu boxtype. I am currently in the process of negotiating with the seller and if ever we agreed to a certain price, I will be taking home this baby in no time…
I didn’t know men can have stretchmarks. My tummy was really big when I graduated from college, thanks to alcohol and too much fatty foods, I became huge and then I got into badminton, weight lifting and then biking that I lost a lot of tummy weight. When I gain weight, I usually gain it around my tummy area first so I now have stretchmarks. Summer is around the corner and we will be hitting the beach soon and I need to wear just board shorts again. I need effective removal of stretch marks and I need to find one fast because we’re planning a vacation in Subic on March 12 and that is just a few weeks away.
I couldn’t understand my wife when she talked about thrush, what more about thrush treatment because I haven’t heard of the word. I only know slush and trash which are way different from what she was talking about. Later on I discovered that from Google about this condition.
So what is Thrush?
Thrush is an infection of the mouth caused by the candida fungus, also known as yeast. Candida infection is not limited to the mouth; it can occur in other parts of the body as well, causing diaper rash in infants or vaginal yeast infections in women.

Thrush can affect anyone, though it occurs most often in babies and toddlers, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.
I am planning to go to the gym again. I’ve been reading about creatine supplements and how it helps build muscles easily. Some of my friends took supplements like this to get the muscles they want while weight lifting. My wife is going to the gym every Tuesdays and Thursdays and she is encouraging me to come with her. I admit, I am too lazy to do so but I am not feeling well lately and sometimes my blood pressure gets elevated because I think it has been a year since I rode a bike and I want to go back into biking but I need to condition myself first by being fit and monitoring my BP first. I don’t need a superhero body but gaining a few muscles plus losing the belly fat will be nice. I don’t think I can be Batman material to my wife but at least I can be attractive again.
She has been spending quite a lot for her skin, I suggested that she visits a dermatologist first before buying medications for her face, she is actually reading therapores when I talked her into it. I don’t disagree of purchasing anything online but since she has very sensitive skin, I want her to get professional advice and so far her skin is really nice and her pimples are slowly going away. I will have to drive her there next week, she want to get a facial again, it’s a monthly thing. Anyway, the prices of her medications is not too much expensive plus the facial is just a little over a thousand so not bad at all.

My son will be having his birthday party next month and I am tasked to print his invites. Since I transferred office last year, I don’t get printing privileges anymore, we might be printing around 10 invites and it would have been cost cutting for us if I can print those 10 tiny invites at work but since there are no nice laser printers in the office where I work now, I am considering of just buying one for the home. Instead of printing it at work, I became busy searching online to see some cheap deals. The wife loved the idea, we will have a colored printer where she can print the photos or pages that she makes from her digital scrapboooking and it will be very helpful to print our son’s activities there as well. I hope I can find a cheaper but nicer brand online soon.
