I want to buy an old school car but my wife is asking me this huge favor… “Hon, if you will buy an old car please have it insured in one of the nicest car insurance companies because I’m sure you will have lots of problems with an old car.” Obviously, she is not into old school. hehehe… This is the sentence that hinders me in buying an old car. I know she is right and with an old car you will have more problems, heck you do get problems in owning a new car, what more if you have an old one right? With the rate that we are going at these days, we don’t have the extra money to restore an old school, so that dream will have to wait, maybe late this year or early next year, we have the extra money for my old school dream. That we’ll have to see.

I am thanking God because my son is well from having Bronchitis. I lift everything to Him and thank you Lord for making him well and though he is still coughing, he is recovering with his medications. I actually think he got the Bronchitis from inhalation of chlorinated water from The Linden Suites, he swam so much during his mommy’s birthday weekend and when I searched online, Bronchitis can be acquired through that. It was a nightmare, he vomited a lot and was rushed to the ER nearby which I vowed not to go back there. Long story but now that he is well, I have the Lord to thank for and hopefully, no more trips in the ER. Here’s a photo of him while nebulizing…

We (the wife and I) were discussing about mortgage and using a mortgage calculator because we have a big plan soon that can change our future and maybe give us something that we can call our own someday when the news about number coding flashed on television. Holy Week is celebrated every year in my country, we have the largest Catholic followers in Asia. So in observance of the Holy Week, number coding will be lifted starting tomorrow, March 30, 2010. The early lifting of the number coding scheme is implemented to give way to the expected mass exodus of vehicles, both public utility and private, to the provinces as the country celebrates Holy Week. We wont be going for vacation anywhere though (we have work until Wednesday anyway), we just have a little plan that involves a kiddie pool, barbecue and family all in the comforts of our own home on Easter Sunday.

Oh yeah a friend went to a vacation and he is trying out their new motorhome but then again it’s not a brand new so you don’t expect it to be working really perfect so during the middle of their trip they needed a motorhome towing service. Good thing he was so prepared that he expected that this thing could happen.

He gave me this reliable site so I can imagine what they went through with his wife and their boys. Thank heavens they got a very reliable road service company or else they will be walking miles just to get help.

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post, my wife is celebrating her 33rd birthday today…

She is always joking about her age, that she will be needing msm supplement soon. Her joints will be aching and in no time she will be needing supplements.I still find her very attractive from the day I met her until today, I see her the same. For this day until forever, she knows I will be here. Happy Birthday L. God bless our family and our love ones always. More years of happiness, best of health and success.

This weekend is a party all together. Today is my wife’s birthday and just like my father in law promised, food is overflowing. As of last night, the day we checked in the hotel, we are always full. I would be needing a colon cleanse this Holy Week. From all the food I’m taking, it’s best I cleanse my body once in a while especially now that I’m not getting any younger.From the looks of it, we will be eating more tonight plus of course tomorrow. We will be staying in the hotel until tomorrow and it’s back to reality again on Monday. Darn Mondays but we all have to work to have great parties such as this one.

Just like I blogged previously, I organized a Tower 1 ride in LaMesa Ecotrail last February 27, 2010 for newbies. I don;t categorize myself as a newbie anymore but I’m also not an expert which prompted a decision that I have newbies as my bike mates that day instead. I posted a thread inviting newbies in our PMTB Forum and a lot joined and left messages. I was very glad that so many wanted to come along. We were actually 17 bikers when we started…

But the trail going to Tower 1 is no joke. You have to be serious, healthy and prepared with lots of determination and energy so you can reach Tower 1 and I ended up with just 11 bike mates at Tower 1.

Some had to be transported to the parking lot at the entrance because they can’t make it… So you see how happy these guys are when we all reached Tower 1. hehehe… Yeah Hard Core newbies, I have to say!

It is sometimes funny that my wife asks me to put wrinkle eye cream around my eyes. She would tell me, “Oh you are so fair, you are prone to having wrinkles early so you better be prepared than sorry!”. Women!  find it weird but I also find it very thoughtful, that’s the wife’s role, they worry these things for you. You don’t have to worry about you smelling fresh because they pick the nicest smelling deodorant and perfume for you. You don’t have to be looking sloppy and dirty because they pick the nicest clothes that will suit you. Men don’t need to be beauty conscious because their wives do that for them and I’m lucky I have one. haha… pogi points eh?

I complained pains in my joint when I sit almost 8 hours at work. My wife would say I need an arthritis treatment right away. Though I know it is a joke, it crossed my mind that I may have arthritis, at almost 32, it is very early but with the lifestyle these days, everything is already possible.This actually resulted to me to run every Tuesday and Thursday with my wife. It is actually not easy, I find mountain biking easier because during downhills you can just glide gracefully on the tracks, unlike in running that you run, use your legs no matter if you’re going up or down, left or right. So yes, I appreciated my wife’s sport more and it actually helped me get rid of those aches. Arthritis is not a joke and I’m glad, I don’t have to worry anymore.

I seldom post photos of my trailing nowadays. I always forget my camera and when I go to trailing, most of the time, it’s just me and my brother in law. So when I organize a trailing to the hardest trail in LaMesa Ecotrail, surely you will experience a quick weight loss. What do you expect, the sun is scorching, dry land, very dry air plus all the ups and downs of the track…

See what I mean? In this photo we were trailing a steep trail, most of my bike mates are newbies so they decided to rest. I think I lost 5 lbs. with the heat of the sun! hehehe… Fantastic workout eh?
