Today, I am…
Happy – Because I get to play with my son the whole day.
Surprised – Because I get to eat one of my favorite Korean food, Chapche which my wife brought from her Bazaar trip at the Fort.
Sad – Because it’s work day again tomorrow and we have to leave our son again with his nanny.
Worried – Because there is a 50/50 possibility that my Nokia phone will not get fixed as stated by the Nokia lady at Megamall, we’ll find out next week.
Anticipating – of our biking this Saturday, I will be going back to La Mesa Ecopark with my brother in law.
Excited – of my coming birthday, it means a day off again from work. Hehehe.

My 9300i Nokia Communicator died on me last week. I always reformat this phone whenever it slows down. Pressing Ctrl-Shift-F while booting makes it go to the format menu. But the last time I reformat the phone, it didn’t go to the format menu, instead, the screen went blank and white. The phone kept on restarting and it just went to the Nokia logo and then reboot again. Maybe it got jealous of my newly bought phone…the Nokia 1200?!? I really got this new phone for a really cheap price of 999 pesos which is a promo offer at Makro just a couple of weeks ago. It’s a good phone if you’re just gonna use it for calling and texting. Another is that the LCD is monochrome and no memory card extension. I carry this phone whenever I bike because it’s handy and smaller than my 9300i. Feature wise, this doesn’t have any feature at all except for the flashlight I guess. As for my 9300i, I’ll send it to Nokia Care for repair…that is, if they can fix this unit. Oh well, I’ll have to stick with my 1200 for now until I get enough money to buy myself a new phone….or maybe a new full suspension bike frame? Hmmmm… hehe!

My brother invited me to this tournament held by their bureau last year…which I joined.  This tournament was an invitational league which is composed of all the bureaus in our department to compete on the given event.  The game consisted of basketball, volleyball, darts?, and my favorite…badminton.  It was the first invitational tournament held by their bureau so as to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among other agencies in the department.  I was one of the players in the badminton team in the mens double and mixed double event.  The last year’s game ended me in the 1st place of the men’s and 1st runner up on the mixed doubles event which resulted to this very nice and dusty trophy, hehe…

The trophy is for the Men’s class and mixed event for the medal.

There will be another invitational tournament this coming September (still tentative).  I’m back on the Men’s Class to defend our title as the Men’s Double Champion… and hopefully aim to get another trophy in replacement of the old medal! (still don’t know if I’m included on the mixed class, crossing my fingers!).  This will be a very exciting event to look forward, though there’s one problem i’m still worrying…I haven’t trained yet coz I’m currently inclined into biking at the moment…biking is FUN! hehehe.

Went to La Mesa Nature Reserve last 09 August, 0700H.  This Ecotrail is maintained by ABS-CBN Bantay Kalikasan Foundation. You have to book for a reservation with them before hitting the trails.

This was my second adventure trail from this place. I wasn’t able to bring my cam on the first trail that’s why I decided not to post it. Anyways, I got there with my boss and his mistah very early. We don’t have any reservation that time, so we have to wait for other bikers for us to join their batch. It was a good thing that these fellow bikers whom we joined were from PMTB club (PinoyMTBikers). Since I’m a member of that organization, I introduced myself to them, that I’m also a member of this forum for almost 4 months now. I didn’t know that this guy from PMTB was one of the Moderators of the forum. His name is Arnel. Thanks to him for letting us join their trail ride at La Mesa.

This was our first rest, approximately 5kms from the parking area, Kawayanan inside the muddy single track with lots of big ants biting my legs, ouch!

This resting ground is approximately 7kms from the Car park. A very nice place to eat and rest.
After eating please don’t throw your trash anywhere, keep it inside your backpack or pockets. We saw a bottle of Gatorade near the trees when we got there, what a very unmannerly biker who threw that bottle tsk tsk!

His cousin calls him “Da” because his name is Dustin. He is turning 1.5 yrs this coming 24^th. He likes to walk all day long until he gets tired…and sleep as his only rest. He knows what book to pick up whenever I ask him to get a particular book. He likes to play with his books and throws it on the floor. He then picks one and browses the pages for his favorite things, people and shapes. He is “Da” the Bookworm…

I bought this very cool GroundZero MTB (Mountain bike) Shorts at Olympic village which I got at a really good price of Php660. It’s because the gateway, cubao branch was on sale that day. I already have an azonic pro8 cycling shorts which is also fully padded plus this shorts that has a saddle-shaped paddings which gives extra comfort when biking for long hours. Aside from the paddings, it has a total of four pockets. 2 on the upper side and 2 on the lower front pockets.

I really like this shorts except for two things…upper front pockets does not have velcro to secure your things. You might want to check your things once in a while when biking. Secondly, It has a red, white and blue lining design which makes this short out of style.  Maybe that’s one reason why they have it on sale?!?!

Recently my wife asked me to install mac games in our G4 laptop. She wants to play games for past time. I couldn’t get any site that offers the games that she likes until I saw this site that even offers Kids games which is really cool, if the time comes our son wants to play games there will be nice games that is good for him where I can download. There is even a game that is called global warning which I may try too since I love outdoors.
